Terms & Conditions
Last updated: November 4, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Optero. By creating an account or using Optero, you accept them. If you use Optero for a company, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The service
Optero helps B2B sellers find companies that may be ready to buy. It searches for companies that match your profile, researches them, calculates opportunity scores, finds decision makers, drafts outreach and monitors companies over time. Optero is a business tool, and you must be at least 18 to use it.
2. Your account
Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell Optero at help@optero.tech if you think someone else has accessed it.
3. Plans and billing
- Plans, prices and usage limits are shown when you choose a plan. Limits apply per billing period.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. A payment processor handles payments.
- An upgrade starts when you complete checkout, and credit for unused days on your current plan may be applied.
- A downgrade or cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your plan continues until then.
- Except where the law requires otherwise or Optero agrees in writing, fees already paid are not refundable.
- Optero may change prices or plans, and will tell you before a price change affects your next renewal.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law, or use Optero to harass, deceive or harm anyone;
- send spam, or contact people in a way that breaks marketing, privacy or anti-spam laws;
- use personal information from Optero to make decisions about employment, credit, housing or insurance;
- resell the service or its data as a contact list or data product, unless Optero agrees in writing;
- scrape, copy or reverse engineer the service, or get around its limits or security; or
- upload anything you have no right to use, or anything malicious.
5. Outreach and contact data
You decide whether and how to contact anyone, and you are responsible for your messages. This includes having a lawful basis to contact people, honoring opt-outs and following the laws that apply, such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM. Review every draft before you send it.
6. AI results and scores
Optero uses public sources, third-party data and AI. Research, contact details, signals, scores and drafts may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Opportunity scores are estimates, not promises that a company will buy. Check anything important before you rely on it.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you put into Optero, including your profile, documents and notes. You allow Optero to use it to run and support the service, including sharing it with the providers described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to provide it.
8. Optero's service
Optero owns the service, its software and its branding. Optero gives you a limited, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business while your account is in good standing. Features may change, and Optero may use any feedback you send without obligation to you.
9. Closing or suspending an account
You can close your account from your settings. Billing is paused when the closure is confirmed. Optero may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service at risk, or has unpaid fees. The Privacy Policy explains what is kept after an account closes.
10. Disclaimer
Optero is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, Optero disclaims all warranties, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted service. Optero does not guarantee any sales or business results.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Optero is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Optero's total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid Optero in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You will cover Optero's reasonable losses from any third-party claim caused by your content, your outreach, or your breach of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
Optero may update these terms. It will change the date at the top and, when a change is significant, tell you by email or in the service. Continuing to use Optero after a change takes effect means you accept it.
14. Contact
